Our check out time is 10:00 AM. This allows us time to clean and prepare the cabin for the next guest. Late check out may be arranged.

We provide all linens, including towels – Kitchen, bath and beach, sheets, blankets, and pillows. We also provide all dispoable products, such as toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, tissue paper, aluminium foil, plastic wrap, and trash bags. We also have numerous spices available, as well as some basic condiments. Coffee packs, creamer, and sugar are available as well at the cabin. All of the basic cooking supplies, such as pots, pans, dishes, measuring cups, are supplied as well. We provide all cleaning supplies, dish detergent, hand soap, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets. We have tried to think of everything our guest could need, so all you have to bring is your clothes and food.

Yes, there is an Ingle’s Grocery Store within 4 miles of Sadie’s retreat that contains normal grocery items as well as many specialty items.

YES! Lake Lure has some great speciality shops. One of the charming aspects of Lake Lure is that it does not have any of the larger known chain stores. So please don’t expect to find a McDonald’s on every corner. And as a matter of fact, the closest McDonald’s is around 20 minutes away. It is what makes Lake Lure such a relaxing vacation destination!

Yes! Sadie’s Retreat is named after our beloved Golden Retriever Sadie. We have traveled with Sadie and know it is not always easy to find some place to stay when you are travelling with pets, especially large breed dogs. So we accept all pets at Sadie’s Retreat. We do ask that you pick up after your pet, do not allow your pet on the furniture, and treat Sadie’s Retreat as you would your own home. We do not charge a pet fee or pet deposit. Please understand that if your pet happens to cause damage, we will need to use the security deposit to fix any issues.
